  • Roma Street Parklands one of Brisbane’s premier parks, with some of the most beautiful examples of contemporary display gardens in Australia. 
  • New Farm Park with 18 hectares of superbly planned horticultural delights such as a mass display of roses, Jacarandas and Poincianas are located in the park's centre. The park is adjacent to the Brisbane Powerhouse at 1042 Brunswick Street, New Farm

Brisbane Whale Watching

 

Did you know that you can head out to the majestic Moreton Bay on a day tour to see the gentle giants of the sea - the Humpback Whales?

 

Each year the magnificent Southern Humpback Whales migrate to and from Antarctica. The Sciencentre

Introduce your kids to science in an enjoyable and immersive environment at The Sciencentre at South Bank. The Sciencentre is located on Level 1 of Queensland Museum and is a fantastic destination for families, with many displays that allow visitors to get hands-on and experience science at work.

Housing permanent and changing exhibitions and providing in-depth education experiences and innovative Science Theatre shows, it is a must-see destination for children, families and even adults!

The Sciencentre is open 9:30am to 5:00pm daily and is located at Corner of Grey & Melbourne Streets, South Bank.

Brisbane Boat Show

Are you a boating enthusiast? For those of you who have a passion for the outdoor lifestyle that comes with being on the water, the Brisbane Boat Show is on again this year at the Brisbane Showgrounds from Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 September.

 

Bringing together the boating industry with boating enthusiasts there will be a great display of products, boat brands and services on display. There will also be heaps of live entertainment, demonstration areas, seminars to engage you and prizes to be won.   

 

With free entry to children under 15 when accompanied by an adult, and free kids activities, you can be guaranteed the whole family will enjoy.
