Sometimes quaint little out-of-the-way shops are the most special. Monte Lupo Pottery is one of those hidden treasures that is located at 269 Padstow Road, Eight Mile Plains and is run by Multicap to support people with disabilities.
The shop features some of the most colourful and quirkiest range of pottery mugs, bowls and mosaic figurines. Monte Lupo is a great place to find that different Christmas gift or just to browse and appreciate some of the creative pieces, all handmade by disabled craftspeople.
While you are there enjoy a coffee and a snack from their café.

More than 50 years after their family bought The Glen Hotel at Brisbane's Eight Mile Plains, Brian and Greg Fitzgibbons have begun construction on their 4.5 star accommodation wing at the multi-award winning Hotel.
"Our aim has always been to stay ahead of trends and invest back into our business. Accommodation is the next stage for us. It has always been my goal, since running around the corridors of my grandparents' Daniell Hotel in the City as a young boy, to have accommodation. We now feel the time is right." says Brian Fitzgibbons.
