For an educational and and fun day of activities for the whole family and to see Australia's cuddly Koalas visit Daisy Hill Koala Centre.
Nestled within the leafy confines of the Daisy Hill Conservation Park is the Daisy Hill Koala Centre, the facility encompasses a large outdoor koala enclosure where you have the chance to see koalas as well as lots other native Australian wildlife such as wallabies and kookaburras in the regional park.
The Daisy Hill Koala Centre has recently undergone an upgrade in 2018 and includes lots of interactive displays. The long boarded walkway through the trees that leads up to the the Daisy Hill Education Centre is a highlight in itself. The centre has lots of large, colourful displays giving details on the koalas, koala conservation and ways in which we can all help out. There are interactive games, tracking devices, an observation tower (for a “koala’s eye view of the world”) and even a woodland theatre displaying two short movies.
Make sure you pack a picnic and a frisbee and make use of the 435 hectares of Eucalyptus forest that makes up the Daisy Hill Conservation Park.
The Centre is located 12km south of The Glen Hotel & Suites on Daisy Hill Road in Daisy Hill, for a great day out visit the Daisy Hill Koala Centre and Daisy Hill Regional Park.
